Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Ivy Society. They govern your access to and use of our platform, events, and community.
By accessing or using Ivy Society, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform.
Ivy Society is an invitation-only or application-based community for alumni of select universities. Membership is subject to review and approval at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to decline or revoke membership for any reason.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the platform.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.
You may not share your account with or transfer it to another person.
You agree to use Ivy Society respectfully and in good faith. You may not use the platform to harass, spam, or harm other members; to share misleading or fraudulent information; or to violate any applicable laws.
Ivy Society is a private community. Information shared by members — including contact details, business information, and personal details — must be used solely for the purposes of genuine professional or social connection and may not be scraped, exported, or used for commercial purposes without consent.
Event registrations are subject to the individual terms of each event organiser. Ivy Society is not responsible for cancellations, changes, or refunds related to third-party events listed on the platform.
By registering for an event, you consent to being photographed or filmed at that event for promotional purposes, unless you opt out in writing.
When you submit a project or other content to Ivy Society, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and share that content within the platform and in promotional materials.
You are solely responsible for the content you submit. We do not endorse or verify any project, product, or service listed on the platform.
All content, design, and technology on the Ivy Society platform — including logos, text, and software — is owned by Ivy Society or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. You may not reproduce or distribute any part of the platform without our prior written consent.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Ivy Society at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to the community, other members, or us.
Ivy Society is provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the platform and are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ivy Society and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the platform.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice on the platform.
